AESTHETIC RESEARCH
For studio brief 3 i decided to do some aesthetic research and have a look at some possible ideas for the interior and exterior of my restaurant/bar. I wanted something similar to the bars like angelica or the alchemist.
As i wasn't entirely sure of the style of food i would be serving at my restaurant i began by general aesthetic research i felt this was important so i could just begin getting a feel for the brief and begin some initial sketching and ideas.
General Research -
Mexican style restaurants -
I love Mexican food so i felt as though this style would work really well for the brief so began looking at a few different types of restaurants.
What i found when researching the Mexican interior restaurants or any branding there were a lot of bright colours and the style of typography used. I will definitely research into these before beginning to design so i can get the best possible feel for the Mexican aesthetic.
