EVALUATION

1. What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them?

I have developed the skills to further my synthesis when writing making sure I select the appropriate components to talk about my work to create a strong breadth of research and final outcomes. I have developed further skills whilst researching I am more aware of the content and information available to me. My writing skills have improved a lot since first year I am now able to triangulate and use quotes effectively to backup my points and create more theory throughout my critical analysis whether it be in my essay or my study tasks.
2. What approaches to/methods of design production have you developed and how have they informed your design development process?

Approaches to design production consist of producing a piece of design that creates synergy between my essay and my practical piece. Another method would consist of extensive research into my specific topic and looking at existing advertising to form the appropriate aesthetics for my practical piece. 

3. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these?

A strength of mine would be producing a strong concept to reflect what I wrote about for studio brief 1.  I have gained the ability to use a number of sources appropriately throughout tasks and my essay. I feel like I produced a strong final outcome using specific elements of research and content that were suitable for my topic.

4. What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these in the future?

A weakness of mine would possible be maybe not reading enough sources, It became obvious to me when beginning my essay not every book you look at will give you the information that you need. I will address this in the future by making sure I get more books and even look online for further information. Another weakness was I feel if I managed my time better I could possibly produce more development for my practical piece. I will make sure I give my self more than enough time for Cop 3 so my work is at the highest standard possible.

5. Identify five things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these?

• Manage my time better so I can achieve a higher quality of work in a shorter time.

• Get more books to further my research

• Look online for sources as well as books.

• Make sure I book more print slots that one so I can make sure I produce prototypes and mock-ups.

• Proof read thoroughly to avoid spelling mistakes or any spacing.
