Meeting with Richard - Theory into Practice

MEETING WITH RICHARD - THEORY INTO PRACTICE

I emailed Richard to ask for a meeting to discuss some queries i had with my current module and cop3.

These were my questions-

• How can i improve my essay ?

• Where would i be suggested to include more sources?

• Does my practical have synergy?

• Is it a strong enough example to portray stereotypes? 

• What should i make sure i include?

Dissertation question-

• Need to define my topic

-Regarding my essay Richard suggested that i add more quotes to further the amount of research. Adding more quotes to back up other quotes will be the best way to get my essay to a higher standard for submission.

-Richard said my concept was strong its a good example of stereotypes and that i should produce my publication in a retro style.Also to look at 'The Good Wife'

-Richard also suggested i could add images to my blog backed up with either quotes from my essay or writing to give more synthesis. As it wouldn't be relevant in my publication.

-Lastly i spoke about my dissertation topic. I was advised to focus my dissertation on a style of design i enjoy or want to get into.

Next steps.

• Get books out for further quotes

• Finish 'Theory into Practice'

• Research 'The Good Wife'

• Make a list of design that interests me for dissertation research.

I am really glad i asked to speak with Richard my meeting cleared up lots of queries i had and i feel confident to carry on with the rest of the module.
