Branding & Development
Colour scheme-
Colour Scheme- The original colour scheme for Cari+Carl features monochrome. I like the use of grey and black together so i decided to add grey to the new colour scheme.
Pattern paper -
Now i have my logo i wanted to use the plus sign i had created to come up with a pattern i could use for some tissue paper or wrapping. I Made a pattern by going into make pattern option on illustrator i selected for the pattern to be used in a hex by comlum tile type so it was more scattered rather that it being in a line.
I decided i would try the pattern smaller and in grey i also increased the spacing in between the shapes to achieve a smaller more spaced out effect.
Example-
Clothing tags-
For the clothing tags i knew i wanted to have the logo centralised on the tag to keep the consistency and achieve a minimal effect.
Variations-
using grey card , white type and black logo-
All the clothing tags lined up in a document-
I decided to use the small grey pattern and have this full bleed on a a3 document. That way when i print double sided the pattern will be on the back of the individual clothing tags.
Stickers-
I thought producing some stickers would work well for the tissue paper it would help to hold the tissue paper together when the scarfs are inside.
I first had the idea of having the cari above the carl and the plus sign centralised.
For the envelopes i decided to have little plus signs inside of circles to have on the back of the envelopes to see them when sending invoices out.
I added the two sets of stickers to one document and put squares around them so it was easy for the vinyl cutter to cut around the shapes and then i would be able to peel them off.
I repeated the same thing with the circles.
Vinyl-
For the vinyl i copied and added the same logo various times on a document so when i got them cut out i could decide against the box lid which one would be the perfect size.
Business cards-
I made a variation of three business cards for Cari.
Same as the clothing tags - Grey with white text and a black logo.
& lastly monochrome-
The back of the business cards i added her website, email, Instagram and twitter. As having social media can have a successful effect on a brand i wanted to add them all especially the Instagram which Cari didnt have on her previous business card.
Business cards set up in a illustrator document-
Double sided -
Invoice-
For the invoice i simply added the logo at the top.
I broke it up with a line then underneath then i added an address to one side and an order no and date to the other.I also broke up the words description, reference and amount up with the same line as above.
On the bottom of the page i added units and subtotal , shipping and total in GPB.
Final-
Personalised Note-
The personalised note has been designed for Cari to simply write a little thank you to her customer and she can pop this in to the box when she mails out her scarfs.
For the top of the personalised note i simply added the logo and then at the bottom the website address.
