Brand - Perceived emoional corporate image as a whole.

Identity - Visual aspects that form part of the overall brand

Logo - Identifies a buisness in its simplest form via the use of mark or icon

We were asked to find 5 Logo/Branding examples & to explain why they were relevant for there specific brand or company & what audience they fit.

MARC JACOBS

Marc jacobs is an american fashion designer for marc jacobs as well as marc by marc jacobs a difussion line. He was on the list of the 100 most influential people in the world . Also one of the most powerful gay men in america.

I chose marc by Marc Jacobs because i think its a very iconic well known brand its so Unqiue and uses just Monochome colours i like the fact he uses his name for his brand and nothing else really unique simple and powerful. The audience for Marc Jacobs would be people who can afford and who love high end fashion and products.

AQUA COUTURE

Aqua couture is a clothing brand for women and men 18-30 the clothing is expensive and high end. Aqua couture sells different styles of fashion to your usual clothing stores and brands. Although the company sells lots of bright and vibrant items the aqua logo and branding is monochrome and simple using a large triangle which represents the letter A i find it memorable and unique and you can see it small or large very legible. Audience 18+ people who like high end fashion.

T & CAKE

T & cake is a company that sells organic produce in hudersfield , its product and packaging is unique simple and playful using only a few colours and stock i think the audience would be for 16+ the simple design could be appreciated by anyone who loves good design.

ASOS

Asos is one of the UK's largest online-only fashion and beauty . Primarily aimed at 18–34 year old men and women ASOS sells both branded fashion goods and its own range of clothes.
Asos stands for as seen on screen as was used for selling items recreated and inspired from clothes celebritys wear its a global brand if not seen as asos just seen as the letter a. Audience would be 16 +

ASCEND

Ascend - The studio was approached to design a new brand identity for Future Building, an exciting new digital agency based in London.

Our solution lies part in the play off between the technical and the visual – and part in the idea of being limitlessly creative within very strict technical constraints. This is demonstrated by an infinitely versatile logo that is both an example of their skills and a signature of their work in the form of a modern maker’s mark.

I chose this because its geometric and memorable and uses the idea of limitless which is fitting for a digital agency. I think the audience would be people who are interested in geometric patterns and digital design.
