Design for print - Perforated Packaging

 PERFORATED PACKAGING

For my brief i am really interested in creating some packaging that can be opened up like a gift or a present as the theme behind my concept is the secret to printing so it would be appropriate for the packaging to be in that style.

I found this particular packaging on matter. They have created different designs for the specific years to send out there information for people to read. They create there ideas in an innovative way as they are a design company they want there content to stand out. This specific design has been created so when the box has been ripped open you only need the content and the box can be disposed of. I like the use of simplistic design used on the cover and the limited information until you open the box.

This is another design they created for another year. I love products that have been laser cut so you can see through them onto the next page.

PUNKTUM-

I found this next design on behance and it is a similar design but the sides of the box have actually not sealed up but you still have to rip the perforated tab to get inside of the packaging.

This set of design envelopes haven't actually been perforated but i really love there use of brown stock and the fact they have used candle wax to drop on to the front to seal up the design. It would have to be ripped open to get inside.

The back of this packaging has a small strip perforation that is placed on the back down the centre.
I really like how they have used the perforation its really simple and fits with the aesthetic.
